COVID-19 Protocols

Here is how we've been working to keep you safe

As acupuncturists, we have been considered essential care workers throughout the coronavirus pandemic. During the initial virus outbreak we did not feel we had enough knowledge or structured guidelines to keep our doors open as usual. We felt, in order to open our doors back up, we needed to make sure that we had enough information about how to properly protect our patients and keep you safe in our clinic. This means we are following strict guidelines directed by the CDC which we just didn't have in the early stages. We also wanted to make sure we had proper PPE equipment without taking away from the hospitals and staff that were treating on the front lines.

What this looks like now that our clinic has opened:

  • All patients are required to wear masks.

  • Patients are booked on a restricted schedule so that no patients are in contact with any other patients.

  • Multiple breaks are added to the schedule to do a deep clean after each patient in each treatment room. This includes cleaning all surfaces, light switches, massage tables, bathroom, door handles, etc with CDC recommended cleaning products.

  • We have implemented a new credit card system to keep your card kept securely on file for hands-free payments.

  • Each patient is required to fill out an electronic COVID-19 questionnaire to report any symptoms before each treatment. If a patient is experiencing symptoms we will schedule a future appointment instead.

We are taking this pandemic very seriously and we are doing all we can to keep you safe and healthy in our clinic.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
